FAVORITE PLACES
Our friends, Dave & Peggy, have a place in Lake Tahoe. It is so beautiful! When we visit in April, we can ski one day and play golf the next. It just doesn't get any better than that.
THE DOGS IN MY LIFE
These cute little girls are: Megan the Springer Spaniel; Freckles the English Cocker Spaniel and Riley the Laso Apso. Megan belongs to me and the other two are my daughter's dogs.

RIVER HOUSE
We spent the week at Rainbow River with some great friends. I was NANA to all of these kids and enjoyed every minute of it. We swam, fished, kayaked and floated down the river on tubes to the rope swing. Of course the highlight is always putting pennies on the railroad track so the the train flattens them. A great time was had by all!!!

SURPRISE!!
NANA sure was surprised when her wonderful daughter and son-in-law bought her this brand new car. WOW.....love those kids!
PET RABBITS
This is NANA and Sydney with her pet rabbits. They are a boy and a girl, and soon we will have more rabbits.

Brooke & Sydney Burkett were flower girls in their babysitters wedding.
BROKEN ARMS!
This MacKenzie and Trevor Shively. They both broke their arms at the same time. It was also the year that Kenny & Lisa were named "Parents of the Year".
BURKETT KIDS
These are my daughter Terri and her husband Frank's kids. It was there Christmas picture in 2004. It was taken at Clearwater Beach.
STEVEN SIMPSON
This is my oldest grandson, Steven Simpson. He is a junior in high school, loves music, hanging out with his friends, being outdoors, playing the guitar and downloading viruses on his mom's computer. He's very creative and someday hopes to be an architect. He has a fabulous sense of humor and is a great big brother to the other kids in his family.
BROOKE BURKETT
This is Brooke Burkett doing what she loves best....playing volleyball. She was on the school team last year and also a cheerleader, on the track team (mile runner), swim team, and softball team. Brooke is going to be in 6th grade this year, and everyone who knows her loves her bubbly personality.
BLAKE BURKETT
This is Blake Burkett with his basketball team. Blake has a genuine love for animals and would be a wonderful vet someday. He also loves cart racing and has a "need for speed". He can be found sitting in his room pounding out a beat on his drum set.
SYDNEY BURKETT
Here's Sydney Burkett.....the daredevil of the group. Always the first to try something, Syd loves swimming, dancing and being with her mom. Look out for the "baby genius" to do something great with her life!
TREVOR SHIVELY
This is Trevor Shively in Breckenridge. Trevor is going to be graduating from middle school this year. Trevor loves skateboarding, snowboarding, and played golf on the school team last year. Trevor is as totally cool as he is loveable!

This is MacKenzie Shively in Breckenridge where she loves to ski. Her cheerleading squad placed 3rd in the National Championship....Mac is the 3rd from the left in the top row. She will be in 6th grade this year, and is loved by everyone she meets.
JAKE BRUNER
This is Jake Bruner with a walleye that he caught all by himself while fishing with his dad. Jake loves sports and is a great athlete like his father. He is sweet and kind with a wonderful personality.
MICHAEL BRUNER
This is Michael Bruner who lives in Wisconsin and enjoys snowmobiling and fishing with his dad. He is as "busy" as he is "adorable", and he gives new meaning to "kids say the darnest things".
OLIVIA KUSHEL
This is Olivia Kushel, our Georgia Peach. Olivia loves being a girl, but excels on the soccer field, tennis court and plays golf. She is an excellent student, as sweet as a Georgia peach and a wonderful big sister.
KYLE KUSHEL
This is our youngest grandchild, Kyle. He lives in Atlanta, so we don't get to spend much time with him. I know that is our loss, and we are missing out on being around one of the sweetest little boys in Georgia. Kyle loves golf, tennis and being with his older sister, Olivia. Kyle is always happy and a joy to be around.
